There’s a lot that goes into allowing the Play Tray to register commands, and accurately relay them to your connected device. Here’s a peek at what you’re getting inside of your Puzzlets Play Tray:
The Play Tray uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy) to connect wirelessly with compatible devices.
The Play Tray has a Micro USB port which is used for charging the included battery and connecting to compatible devices.
The Play Tray features a push-switch, which is accessible via a paperclip, and an LED light which flashes and changes color to indicate the status of the Play Tray.
The majority of the space in the Play Tray is taken-up by a large circuit board. The circuit board registers commands from the Puzzlet Tiles and relays them to the connected device.
The Lithium Ion battery in the Play Tray is rechargeable via the included USB cable, offers players 7-hours of continuous use, and will hold a charge for 3-months in standby mode.
